One interesting thing about Bhutan tariff is that it is fixed by the Government of Bhutan and then these rates are consolidated into a package and charged on per night basis. The package comes with all meals; private transportation regardless of destination / sightseeing spots, govt. royalty, present applicable taxes, agent’s handling charge and all other necessary logistic arrangement.

The government fixed package tariff for tourists visiting in a team of 03 persons or more are as follows:-

The minimum tariff for tourist visiting Bhutan s as follows (per person per night): Feb, Mar, Apr, May, Aug, Sept, Oct, Nov & Dec (high seasons):

1. Pax traveling alone: US$ 270 per person per night on single occupancy basis
2. Pax traveling together US$ 230 per person per night on twin sharing basis
3. Pax and above traveling together US$ 200 per person per night on twin sharing basis

Jan, June & July (low seasons): USD 165 per person per night
occupancy basis

1. Pax traveling alone: US$ 235 per person per night on single occupancy basis
2. Pax traveling together US$ 195 per person per night on twin sharing basis
3. Pax and above traveling together US$ 165 per person per night on twin sharing basis

The per night cost remains same for Cultural Tours, Treks or any other Special Interest Tours however additional charges could be levied in certain special interest tours / trekking tours.

These minimum daily rates are inclusive of following services:

- Accommodation in standard hotels, approved by Tourism Council of Bhutan.
- All transfers and sightseeing within Bhutan by a Non A/c Vehicle.
- Services of accompanied English speaking guide.
- All applicable meals
- Government’s royalty & taxes
- Riding ponies and pack animals on treks
- Entrance fees to the monuments
- FIT surcharge incase of only one or two pax traveling together
 
Agency Commission
As per international norms, 10% of the gross tour payment shall be payable to the principal agents abroad as commission and can be deducted at source while sending us the remittance. Further, this commission shall be calculated from the net amount after deducting the discounts wherever applicable. Also there is no commission on FIT Surcharges, applicable incase of 01 and 02 pax.

Single Room Supplements
- Festival seasons USD 50 per single room per night
- Other seasons USD 30 per single room per night

Tourism Development Fund
A sum of USD 10 per tourist per visit shall be payable towards Tourism Development Fund.

Visa Fee
Visa fee USD 20 per person is payable extra and it can paid along with tour payment.
